Theme Christmas Decorations
Outdoor decorating begins and ends with lights. Traditional stringers of C6, C7, and C9 Christmas Lights, energy-saving LED Christmas lights, or icicle and net lights might be used to create an entire outdoor display. Animated christmas decorations come in a variety of sizes and themes, with small light Christmas decorations for walls, windows, and entranceways, and large lighted or animated Christmas decorations for open spaces. Outdoor Christmas decorations should be simply stated with emphasis on balance.

The endless choices of outdoor Christmas ornaments poses a problem when holiday spirit is confused with chaotic improvisation. Christmas Decorating Themes

An outdoor nativity consists of the Holy Family, and perhaps wise men, angels, a drummer boy, even animals. A star is often displayed above the manger; nativities should be well lit. Complete the theme with lights and a nativity wreath on the front door.

Children from 1-101 might be a little less naughty with Santa waving at passersby. Traditional or icicle lights, lighted or animated Santas and sleighs, elves, reindeer, giant wrapped presents, and colossal yard ornaments excite and bring magic to the season.

The toy theme is closely related to the Santa theme. Animated and inflatable Christmas decorations can be used with Santa or can stand alone in sizable Christmas decorations that reach up to 12-feet tall. Remember that size is determined by space, and as in all outdoor Christmas decorations, less is best.
